Billy Walker has been servicing and tuning pianos since 1979, and operating Academy Piano Rebuilders since 1981, with complete rebuilding facilities where he has rebuilt hundreds and repaired thousands of pianos, from small uprights to concert grands. He has tuned and serviced thousands of instruments in Saskatchewan. Billy is an Associate Member of the Piano Technicians' Guild.

Academy Piano Rebuilders provides service in your home or institution in the Saskatoon area. Out of town tuning and servicing can also be arranged. Custom Rebuilding

Pianos are restored to maximize their touch, tone and durability as high quality musical instruments. Our in-shop piano rebuilding is approached on a case by case basis, but generally consists of: oversize pinning or pinblock replacement, complete restringing & rescaling, soundboard restoration or replacement, bass & treble bridge work, trap & pedal work, structural work, new hammers & dampers, action & keybed work.
